How’d you get here?” “Kurt and Blaine decided to go a mini cross-country trip before school started and I begged them to let me to come. School’s only a couple weeks away so I didn’t have a lot of time. I came to see you.” “You shouldn’t have done that.” “Why not? Because you want us kissing in the back of my truck to be your last memory of me? You didn’t even tell me you were leaving, Sam. You finally told me how you felt and then you fucking left! How do you think it felt when I went to the motel the day after you told me how you felt and your room was empty? How I had to hear it from Artie that your dad got a job and you had to move? Did you not care at all?” “I cared too much, that’s the problem!” Sam yelled, his voice cracking. “It would have hurt too much to say goodbye to you, Puck. Don’t you get that? I can’t…. I can’t say goodbye to you. Which is why you shouldn’t have come here.” Puck stared at him. “So you’re telling me I came here for nothing, then?
